I accepted the offer and am willing to wait for a few days. He said he will collect on Saturday and then postponed to Sunday morning. At Sunday noon, he messaged to cancel. It wasted my time to wait.

Make sure to settle on price first with this buyer. She never expressed any issue over chat then started haggling with my partner on arrival at my flat. I never would have wasted my time had I known she would behave like that.

It was never my intention to make you feel that way. If she had any objection to negotiating I would have immediately paid attention to it. Your partner and I had a very nice chat and there was no indication that anything was wrong. There was no offer made prior to the visit so I had thought the price was open for negotiation. I am very grateful to buy your chair and trust that if I had known she was uncomfortable at that point I would have addressed it.
