Sorry you are not happy but it is a 60 year old vintage backpack that was listed as well used at a low price. Any used item that old is not perfect but it can be used as is, as my family members have used it. Maybe you can apply candle wax to the zip on the pocket if you want to make the zip smoother. But the main compartment does not use a zip so there should be no problems with that.
Again, the item is in excellent condition. Love dealing with this seller
